Richmond, B.C. – As the boxing fans in British Columbia quietly anticipate the ESPN’s televised Rumble at the Rock IV, set for April 30, 2008 at the River Rock Show Theatre the main event boxers have been selected and are ready to rumble. This is the fourth time that the River Rock Casino Resort and West Coast Promotions have collaborated to bring exceptional boxers to the ring.
The Main Event: Joel Julio (32-1-0) Miami, Florida via Columbia versus Ishe Smith (19-2) Las Vegas, Nevada.
Both boxers are world class Jr. Middleweights and look to contend for a World title in the near future.
The Semi-Main Event: Albert Onolunose (14-0-0) Calgary versus Eddie Sanchez (16-6-2) SanDiego.
The undefeated boxer-puncher Albert Onolunose is looking to step up in competition by taking on perennial Middleweight contender Eduardo (Eddie) Sanchez.
The remainder of the card:
Kevin Reynolds (7-1-0) Vancouver vs. Victor Barragan (8-3-0) Oxnard, California - #1 Canadian ranked cruiserweight Reynolds steps up in competition facing rugged Californian Victor Barragan.
Junior Moar (3-2-0) Richmond vs. Louis Sargeant (9-11-2) Richmond - #6 Canadian ranked Super Middleweight Moar looks to climb the rankings by facing #4 ranked Sargeant.
Jaime Walton Vancouver vs. Mark Freidman Richmond – local Heavyweights go head to head on their pro debuts.
Noriko Kariya New Jersey via North Vancouver, BC vs. Jessica Mohs Oklahoma City – Kariya makes her West Coast debut.
